Pepe and Anna produced two podium places at the CDI5* Doha.

With what Anna describes as perhaps her strongest freestyle to date, Pepe demonstrated last weekend that he is indeed still going strong. The pair is back in the international show circuit after a long break since the Rio Olympics.

At the CDI5* show Al Shaqab in Doha, the pair secured two third places in Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle, both times only beaten by the world ranking’s number one rider, Isabell Werth and fellow Dane, Cathrine Dufour riding Pepe’s travel partner, Cassidy.

“I love every ride I get on Pepe, and I am very grateful that he in the age of 18 still can produce such rides to demonstrate that he belongs among the best in the world. He makes me very proud,” says Anna, who still plans to take one show at the time with “senior”.
