Are you the new inspiring and dedicated team leader for our breeding and young horse department, eager to build and develop these sections to ensure the best possible training for our dressage horses? We are looking for a team leader to start on September 1st - or as soon as possible.

Future Dressage, aside from being a stud farm with three horse properties, is a growing business with the goal of delivering exceptional breeding and riding horses at all price levels.

Future Dressage, aside from being a stud farm with three horse properties, is a growing business with the goal of delivering exceptional breeding and riding horses at all price levels. We are located in scenic surroundings just a few kilometers from Haderslev, where we run a top-level stud farm and dressage stable with modern facilities. Here, we are a team of 13 dedicated employees, all passionate about horses. We offer excellent working conditions and value community and team spirit, always focusing on the horses to ensure the best long-term results. Daily team interactions help secure the development of both horses and staff on site.

Responsibilities

As a team leader, you should have experience with young horses and breaking them in, as well as a knack for each horse's development. You must understand the importance of patience and be ready to showcase the young horses. Additionally, you should be able to instruct and guide staff in handling foals, yearlings, and young horses.

Tasks include:

  • Training young horses
  • Handling foals, mares, and young horses
  • Organizing the breaking/training of the young horses
  • Coordinating daily tasks and ensuring proper staffing
  • Registering and preparing for various shows, inspections, championships, etc.
  • Customer contact and communication
  • Participating in the selection of young horses, weekend shifts, etc.
Your Qualifications:

You are organized and can work independently on assigned tasks, thriving in a team environment where mutual support is key.

We imagine that you:

  • Have a passion for working with foals, yearlings, and young horses
  • Can handle the training of horses and have an interest in developing riding horses from the ground up
  • Can remain calm, patient, responsible, and maintain a good overview
  • Are critical and detail-oriented regarding the horses' development
  • Are goal-oriented, results-driven, and demonstrate good horsemanship
  • Can be part of a team and take on the daily responsibility for the breeding and young horse department
  • Are reliable, cooperative, and ready to lead by example
  • Are a positive team player who contributes to a good work environment and ensures that employees are motivated and developed

This is a full-time position (37 hours) based in Haderslev, where you will also be part of the weekend shifts.
