As the only Dane in the field and with a completely sold out stadium in Aachen Anna Kasprzak takes fifth place.

In today’s competition (kür) Anna Kasprzak and Donnperignon had to defend Denmark on their own. With a total score of 82.125% they take fifth place in a strong field.

The atmosphere was intense and Pepe keen to give the audience a good experience.

“I promised Pepe to do my best and by joint efforts, we have delivered a result, which I’m very happy with,” says Anna Kasprzak.

Today’s kür was delivered in front of a sold out stadium.

“It is a wonderful and special experience to ride in front of such a large audience. The special thing about kür is that it gives the audience an extra dimension of our sport as the music builds up and supports the series,” says Anna Kasprzak.

Pepe seemed to enjoy both the music, the audience’s support and his enthusiastic rider as the hard-working gelding again delivered an effort that resulted in high praise.

“Pepe does his best every time we compete and today was no exception. To finish fifth in this field is not that bad, “says Anna Kasprzak.

CHIO Aachen 2014 is coming to an end and Pepe is heading back to Denmark for some well-deserved days off.
